Hilord Bulk Ink System

Question: Before installing Hilord’s Bulk Ink System What do I have to do?

Response: The printer needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Refer to “Installing Hilord Inks” Procedure.

Question: What is the voltage requirement for the Hilord Bulk Ink System?

Response: 110-240 Volts AC

Question: The red light appears on the BIS unit.

Response: This happens when the pump adds too much ink into the cartridge. The light will normally go away after printing or after a few maintenance cleanings. If, in the rare case that it doesn’t, contact Hilord immediately.

Question: The light indicates that the pump is on but there is no ink going through the tubing.

Response 1: Check the color coded-coupler to make sure that is sitting firmly in the insert.
Response 2: Check the connection behind the BIS cartridge. Make sure the tubing is tightly connected.

Response 3: Touch the back of the cartridge, if you don’t feel or hear the pump working, call Hilord for further assistance.

Question: Ink is flooding the head and is dripping onto the vinyl.

Response: Check the top connector behind the BIS cartridge. It should be opened.
