E-STAT Dye Sublimation 8954
Question: How can I extend the life of my toner?
Response: By monitoring the conductivity with a conductivity probe.
Question: Can I still use the printer’s concentrate-add system?
Response: No. Use only a conductivity probe.
Question: Do I have to remove and shake all premix and concentrate bottles every morning?
Response 1:
No. Just perform one flush cycle (menu-13) every morning.
Response 2: If you have any
toner bottles in storage, shake them for one minute before installing in the
printer.
Question: Do I have to install stirrers insight the premix bottles?
Response: No.
Question: What should I do if my colors look light?
Response: Check the conductivity of the toner. If the number is low, add more concentrate. If the number is high, add more dispersant.
Question: What if the conductivity is within range but my colors still look light?
Response 1: Check to see
that the level of humidity in the room is within range.
Response 2:
Follow procedure “C” from “Controlling the Density by Controlling
the Conductivity ABC Procedure”.
Question: Why am I getting
cover over on my color (Black looks bluish, Cyan looks Purple, Magenta looks
Orange?
Response 1: Check
the conductivity of the toner to ensure it is within range.
Response 2: Follow procedure
“C” from “Controlling the Density by Controlling the Conductivity
ABC Procedure”.
