Question: There are ink drops on my vinyl. Is the ink dripping from the head?

Response: The ink should not drip from the head.

Make sure that the vent caps on the back of the bulk ink cartridges are removed and that there is no obstruction in the vent port or tubing.

Step 1. If there is any dry ink in the tubing, remove immediately.

Step 2. Check the level and the condition of the maintenance station.

Step 3. Check the ink restrictions on your profiles. If the ink restriction is set too low the head will try to print more than it can handle. It is better to restrict the color in your profiler and print two layers to make up for the difference in density.
