E-STAT Dye Sublimation RG DCS54XX
Q: How can I extend the life of my toner?
A: By monitoring the conductivity with a conductivity probe.
Q: Can I still use the printer's concentrate-add system?
A: It is recommended that you use both the conductivity probe and the printer's concentrate-add system. Use the probe to monitor and adjust the setpoint of the printers concentrate-add system.
Q: Do I have to remove and shake all premix and concentrate bottles every morning?
A1: No. Just perform a flush cycle for 2-3 minutes for each color every morning and remove and shake the concentrate bottles once a week.
A2: If you have any toner bottles in storage, shake them for one minute before installing in the printer.
Q: Do I have to install stirrers inside the premix bottles?
A: No.
Q: What should I do if my colors look light?
A: Check the conductivity of the toner. If the number is low, add more concentrate. If the number is high, add more dispersant.
Q: What if the conductivity is within range but my colors still look light?
A1: Check to see that the humidity level in the room is within range.
A2: Follow procedure "C" from "Controlling the Density by Controlling the Conductivity ABC Procedure".
Q: Why am I getting cover over on my color (Black looks bluish, Cyan looks Purple, Magenta looks Orange?
A1: Check the conductivity of the toner to ensure it is within range.
A2: Follow procedure "C" from "Controlling the Density by Controlling the Conductivity ABC Procedure".
